Executive sessions in Milwaukee, Chicago and Detroit provide early morning forum

for practical tips and networking.

SAN JOSE, Calif., September 11, 2006 – Apexon, a leading provider of Active Supply Management solutions for manufacturing, is hosting a series of “best practice” breakfasts for manufacturing supply chain and operations executives, October 17-19, 2006, in Milwaukee, Chicago and Detroit.

Speakers during the two-hour sessions will be sharing strategies for aligning supplier performance with organizational cost, quality, and on-time delivery priorities, and discuss ways to take a proactive approach to managing the supply base. Each breakfast will feature a keynote speaker with hands-on experience in regional manufacturing issues.

“Active Supply Management is an important topic for manufacturers as they work to reduce risks and start considering their supply base as a source of competitive advantage,” said Kevin Brooks, vice president of marketing for Apexon.  “Apexon is focused on helping manufacturers make that leap, so we are happy to sponsor these breakfasts and provide a great way for busy executives to quickly learn from their peers and still get in a full day at the office.”
