Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a high-energy all around software developer to join us, to develop Apexon's Business Relationship Management Application. In the this position, the individual is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintainence of our applications that are currently deployed to Fortune 500 customers. Additionally, the individual will work closely with Product Management to analyze customer requirements and provide technical support to production accounts.

Qualifications:

• 5 to 7 years experience in developing enterprise software in C/C++ and Java, minimum 5 years of in-depth Java programming in J2EE environment, preferably in developing web-based workflow application.

• Strong in high-performance server-side programming and skilled in software design using UML, patterns, and state-of-art technologies and frameworks (such as XML, Web services, Hibernate, Spring, AOP, etc.)

• Familiar with web archiiture and have production experience with at least one of the major J2EE application servers such as Weblogic, Webshphere and JBoss.

• Familiar with software lifecycle and have good grasp on methodologies to build quality software.

• Familiar with UNIX (Solaris, AIX, Linux) scripting (Perl, Tcl, Python, or Shell scripts) and system performance diagnosis.

• Expert experience in Oracle database with hands-on skill in relational data modeling, PL/SQL programming, O-R mapping, and VLDB performance tuning. Production Oracle DBA experience is a plus.

• Must be a team player and skilled in problem solving. Excellent verbal and written communication. Need to be able to multi-task under high pressure.

• Client-side programming experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Struts, JSF, Flash, PHP, or AJAX is a strong plus.

• Experience working with off-shore organizations.

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science.
