StarWest – The first-hand experience! Part 2

Day1 ended with the passport game prizes and a gala mixer soon after. Apexon’s Apple TV was a pretty hot item on the table, eyed by one and all. Mixer made us mix with the crowd during downtime and have a tete-a-tete with a few who were interested to know more about what we do.  End of day1, we were so ready to close the shop and brace up for day2.

Day2 started with Manish Mathuria’s session on mobile automation and I’ve already talked about the success story. We have a webinar scheduled on Tuesday, October 30th at 10 am on the same topic for those of you who’re interested. Please visit /resources/#tab_23 to register. Manish will talk about the challenges in mobile automation and help you determine the right combination of tools and frameworks for your test automation needs. His session will help you learn some of the best practices from real life examples and plan your project efficiently. So don’t miss this session!

Going back to day2, I wouldn’t say it was as crazy as day 1 but definitely kept us on our feet. Lot of traffic checking to see what new giveaways we had, but a few very interested in our offerings with several interesting discussions with QA directors/managers. And as I mentioned, no one had the swag like we did, we saw by passers wearing our t-shirts giving us free advertisingJ. Do check out some of these pictures on our Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/Apexon.Corporation/

Day2 also gave us some bandwidth to network with some of our partners especially PefectoMobile. We planned some joint demo sessions on the show floor on both days of the expo to exhibit our capabilities in automation which was very well received. Day2 also gave us a chance to hop across other booths to see what they were offering and where we stood. From having traversed the show floor, it was very evident, that we brought a lot more energy, a lot more swag, and a lot more promise with our offerings both from a services and a product perspective. Unbiased opinion, so I sayJ.

Day2 ended quickly and it gave us time to trot through Disneyland and have a few nice laughs and LOTS of drinks, celebrating our success for a show well done!
