About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer/Senior Developer with strong expertise in .NET, C#, AWS, SQL, and PostgreSQL to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience building cloud-native solutions, developing REST APIs, optimizing database performance, and working in an agile environment. Experience with OpenSearch is a plus. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities ? Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core/.NET 8+, C#, and related technologies. ? Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices. ? Design and optimize relational databases using SQL Server and PostgreSQL. ? Develop cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services. ? Create scalable, highly available, and secure application architectures. ? Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis. ? Implement best practices around coding standards, security, performance, and testing. ? Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Architects, QA, and DevOps engineers. ? Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and mentoring junior developers. ? Drive continuous improvement in application performance, reliability, and observability. ________________________________________ Required Skills Backend Development ? Strong expertise in C# and .NET Core/.NET Framework. ? Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures. ? Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, SOLID principles, and design patterns. ? Experience with dependency injection, asynchronous programming, and multithreading. Cloud & DevOps ? Hands-on experience with AWS, including: o Lambda o ECS/EKS o S3 o SQS/SNS o API Gateway o CloudWatch o RDS o IAM o DynamoDb ? Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. Database ? Strong SQL development and query optimization skills. ? Expertise in PostgreSQL database design, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning. ? Experience with data modeling and database migration strategies. Software Engineering ? Experience with Git-based source control. ? Unit testing and integration testing experience. ? Strong debugging and performance tuning skills. ? Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. ________________________________________ Good to Have ? Experience with OpenSearch / Elasticsearch. ? Experience building search-driven applications. ? Knowledge of event streaming platforms such as Kafka. ? Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes. ? Exposure to distributed systems and high-volume data processing platforms. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications ? Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. ? 7+ years of software development experience. ? Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. ? Ability to work independently and drive technical initiatives.
