Role Overview

We are seeking an EDI Developer with strong hands-on experience in EDI X12 development, mapping, interfaces, and extracts. The role will focus on developing ITX data mappings, implementing SNIP compliance rules, and supporting EDI development through ESB and API Gateway technologies within a healthcare environment.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with EDI X12 development.

• Strong experience with EDI mapping and interfaces.

• Experience developing ITX data mappings for X12 to non-X12 conversions.

• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) software.

• Experience developing SNIP compliance rules for EDI X12 transactions.

• Experience with EDI X12 transactions such as 270/271, 837, 835, 834, and similar transactions.

• Experience with ESB and API Gateway development.

• Experience with REST and SOAP services.

• Experience working with healthcare domain applications and integrations.

Preferred Skills

• Java development experience.

• Experience with FHIR.

• Experience with Splunk.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EDI X12 interfaces, mappings, and extracts.

• Develop ITX data mappings for X12 to non-X12 data conversion.

• Develop and maintain SNIP compliance rules for EDI X12 transactions including 270/271, 837, 835, 834, and other healthcare transactions.

• Design, develop, and implement EDI solutions using ESB and API Gateway technologies.

• Support integration between EDI systems and healthcare applications.

• Work with REST and SOAP based integrations.

• Troubleshoot EDI mapping, interface, and integration issues.

• Support healthcare integration requirements involving EDI, FHIR, and related technologies.

• Collaborate with technical and business teams throughout the development and implementation lifecycle.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
