Overview

• The role involves close collaboration with business and operations teams to deliver scalable solutions, improve efficiency, and drive innovation across workflows and products.
• Scope of Work Build and enhance high-throughput, low-latency trade processing systems
• Support platform resilience, scalability and production stability
• Drive legacy system migration and decommissioning (e.g., Hudson to XStore)
• Support onboarding of settlement and pre-settlement platforms Improve throughput and efficiency across confirmations and downstream systems
• Provide production support, incident management, and RCA Collaborate with business and engineering stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions for post-trade and financial processing platforms
• Contribute to platform enhancements across reconciliation, receivables/payables, and trade connectivity systems
• Collaborate with business and operations stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure high-quality code through adherence to development best practices and methodologies
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and performance

Required Skill Set

• Strong Java development (Core Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs)
• Experience in AWS Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures Messaging systems (Kafka, JMS)
• Strong SQL and data troubleshooting CI/CD, testing and deployment practices
• Production support and incident handling

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in software development within a comparable environment
• Strong hands-on experience in object-oriented programming and development best practices
• Technical expertise in: Java, Spring, Hibernate and AWS SQL, UNIX Cloud technologies and AI-based development tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Bachelors degree from an accredited university
